Warlord. Pedophile. Slave master. Misogynist.
Most of the time, such derogatory labels are used by the enemies of Islam to tarnish our Prophet's (peace be upon him) name and our religion. Otherwise, you will not hear of it from those who remain respectful of Islam. I think knowledge is king. We are not trying to hide information or trick the non-Muslims. Even many Muslims are not aware (or try to sugarcoat) historical aspects of their beloved Prophet, peace be upon him. In that case, we can take this opportunity to learn more about of the best from Allah's creations.
So what of it?
Well, he did command and lead many raids , battles and sieges that led to the financial loss, ransom, "enslavement", banishment and death of his opponents.
He did consummate his marriage with a girl that was 9 years old.
He did come into possession of "slaves", as did his Companions.
He did use some harsh words towards women, and was completely and utterly patriarchal, as was the religion he preached.
